2025 influenza Vaccination Program

We are excited to announce that the yearly flu vaccination program at Ohope Beach Medical Centre will begin on April 1, 2025.

Getting your flu vaccine is a vital step in protecting yourself and your loved ones from seasonal influenza. The vaccine is safe, effective, and a key measure to ensure your health and well-being during flu season.

Appointments are bookable online via ManageMyHealth* by selecting “Flu Clinic” as provider or by ringing reception on 07 312 5340 

**Casual patients are welcome, please advise reception.**

Flu And COVID Clinic Dates

In recent months we have seen increased numbers of people with COVID-19 in our region. We still offer free COVID vaccinations for all age groups.

Starting on Tuesday the 15th of April we will be offering a combined Flu and COVID clinic. You are welcome to book in for either your Flu vaccine, your COVID vaccine or combine both vaccines on the same day.

2025 funded influenza Eligibility criteria

The 2025 Funded influenza vaccine is available for people who meet the following criteria set by Health New Zealand:

1. All people 65 years of age and over; or

2. People under 65 years of age who have a chronical disease(s)

3. Children under the age of 4

Unfunded vaccine options are also available, our Nurse will inform you about available options at the start of your visit.
